Blue Socks (2014) can’t capture shootout, loses 12-10 to S Rotterdam

Blue Socks fell 12-10 to S Rotterdam in six innings on Friday at Rotterdam despite racking up eight hits and 10 runs.

Blue Socks was led by Osrick Anita’s hitting. Osrick went 1-2, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning.

Thirty-four got the win in relief for S Rotterdam. Thirty-four pitched four innings and allowed nine runs.

S Rotterdam was sparked by seven and 48, who teamed up for four hits and six RBIs.

Koen Van Dillen was the game’s losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked five and struck out one.

The top of the second saw Blue Socks take an early lead, 1-0. A solo blast by Osrick started the inning off.

S Rotterdam scored one run of its own in the second. S Rotterdam scored on an error.

After a quick strike from Blue Socks , S Rotterdam responded with four runs in the fourth. S Rotterdam scored on an RBI single by seven, a walk by six, a sacrifice fly by 23, and an RBI single by 15.
