Blue Socks second-inning burst enough to top PSV – Eindhoven, 11-3

Blue Socks refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against PSV – Eindhoven, recording an 11-3 victory on Friday at Veenendaal.

Ten runs in the first three innings allowed Blue Socks to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Walter Teffer, an RBI single by Marc Valkier, a hit by pitch, and a three-run double by William Van De Bilt in the second inning helped Blue Socks put some runs on the board early.
Osrick Anita racked up five RBIs on one hit for Blue Socks .

Mark Verheij baffled PSV – Eindhoven, striking out seven batters. Blue Socks ’s pitcher gave up just four hits over four shutout innings.

Walter recorded the win for Blue Socks . He allowed three runs over three innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Rafael took the loss for PSV – Eindhoven. He allowed 11 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out five.

After a quick strike from PSV – Eindhoven, Blue Socks responded with four runs in the third. Blue Socks scored on an RBI single by Koen Van Dillen and a three-run home run by Osrick.
